Byron’s Stonehenge - Site 5

Through the ‘Eagle Farm’ project, Byron New Energy aims to act as a clearing house for environmentally sound products, practices and practitioners. “We’ll do this by facilitating the reduction of imports to the property and the region as a whole. Instead, our focus will be to maximise the development of Environmental Industry exports from the region,” he said.
Sectors to be targeted will include (but will not be limited to) timber, agri-business, renewable energy, information technology, architecture, transport, indigenous industries, tourism, art, music and theatre.
Byron New Energy is confident that Eagle Farm will have its two key projects up and running within the next 10 years. “This an opportunity not only to celebrate in the local natural environment, but also to further capitalise on the natural environment of the region, supporting our clean, green identity,” he said.
“Imagine if we were able to create a large portion of our energy needs from our own waste, it would be an enormous environmentally and economically sustainable achievement!”
